With the Lantronix Open-Q™ 6490CS Development Kit, comprising the Open-Q™ 6490CS SOM, an open-frame carrier board with access to all available I/O, and a comprehensive accessory package, the evaluation and development of demanding solutions can be carried out efficiently and safely. Typical applications include multi-camera systems, edge AI gateways, as well as drones, UAVs, and autonomous robotics solutions.

The included Lantronix Open-Q™ 6490CS System on Module is a high-performance yet low-power embedded compute module based on the Qualcomm Dragonwing™ QCS6490, designed for Edge AI and Vision applications with strict SWaP requirements. Combining an AI engine with Hexagon™ DSP acceleration, multi-camera connectivity via MIPI-CSI, and advanced camera capabilities such as up to 5x IFE, the SOM is particularly well suited for real-time perception and edge inference, for example in drones, UAVs, and autonomous robots.

The Open-Q™ 6490CS Development Kit provides a ready-to-use platform that significantly shortens prototyping time and reduces integration risk. Thanks to standard sockets and interfaces, third-party accessories can also be used.
