The Thundercomm W5+ AI Glasses are a smart glasses reference design for AI-powered hands-free applications.

Based on the Qualcomm® Snapdragon SW5100 and BES2700H, the solution features an exceptionally lightweight, ergonomic design with a highly integrated AIOS architecture and a user-friendly interface for voice interaction, audio, and visual capture.

The platform supports first-person perspective, voice control, and on-device AI capabilities directly at the operating system level. A high-resolution camera with advanced image processing enables seamless recording from the user’s perspective, while a five-microphone array with beamforming technology ensures clear voice recording as well as echo and noise cancellation. The two built-in high-performance speakers also deliver immersive audio experience.

With Android and RTOS, 2 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, 32 GB of eMMC storage, as well as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and built-in sensors, the platform is ideal for innovative wearable concepts. Weighing only about 42 grams and offering long-lasting battery power, the glasses can be worn comfortably throughout the day. Features such as “AI Note” also allow users to record information and tasks directly via voice command.
