The Quectel SG560DEUPA-U61-TA0AA Eval Adapter Board, in combination with the SMART5GEVB-INT-KIT baseboard, enables developers to evaluate the powerful capabilities of the next-generation 5G smart module SG560D by Quectel.
The SG560D smart module is based on the Qualcomm® QCM6490 chipset, integrating a high-performance octa-core Kryo™ CPU and Adreno™ GPU for advanced multimedia and edge AI processing in demanding applications designed for both industrial and consumer applications.
The SG560D features a variety of interfaces, including LCM, cameras, USB, PCIe, UART, SPI, I2C, and more for a seamless integration into complex systems.
Its support for 5G NSA/SA, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.2, and GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, BDS, NavIC, Galileo, QZSS, SBAS) enables high-speed connectivity as well as precise positioning. By supporting Android 12 and 13, the module delivers exceptional performance for video, AI, and data-intensive use cases in i.e. robotics, AR/VR, drones, smart retail, video conferencing, or security systems.
With reliable support for up to five simultaneous cameras, triple ISP, and 4K video encoding/decoding, SG560D offers extensive multimedia functionality with low power consumption. MIMO support further enhances data throughput and reliability.
The SG560DEUPA-U61-TA0AA Eval Adapter Board and SMART5GEVB-INT-KIT provide the perfectly coordinated eco-system for an efficient and facilitated evaluation of the SG560D and thereby helps to streamline development processes for solutions in fields like mobile robotics for industrial use cases, surveillance drones, and smart building systems (i.e. video conferencing systems, edge computing, AR/VR, and security systems).
