ProLabs 10GBASE SFP+ transceivers for copper and fiber infrastructures

The two high-performance Cisco®-compatible ProLabs SFP+ modules are specifically designed to provide reliable 10G connectivity for both copper and fiber infrastructures. Both transceivers are built to meet or even exceed OEM specifications, are fully MSA-compliant, and come with ProLabs’ limited lifetime warranty, ensuring long-term reliability and seamless integration into existing networks.
The 10GBase-TX (GLC-T-10G compatible) module delivers up to 30 meters of 10GBase-TX throughput over copper via an RJ-45 connector. It supports 10GBase auto-negotiation and performs non-intrusive diagnostics to protect managed devices and primary network performance. Each unit is programmed, uniquely serialized, and tested for data traffic and application to guarantee identical initialization and performance to the original Cisco® module.
The 10GBase-SR (SFP-10G-SR compatible) module supports up to 300 meters over multi-mode fiber (MMF) at an 850nm wavelength via an LC connector. In addition to matching OEM specifications, it includes a Digital Optical Monitoring (DOM) functionality, allowing real-time access to operating parameters such as temperature, optical power, and transceiver voltage. This provides enhanced network visibility and proactive maintenance capabilities.
Both modules are designed for cross-platform interoperability, enabling network operators to consolidate inventory and simplify deployment. Stringent testing processes, combined with coding verification under actual operating conditions, provide compatibility assurance and peace of mind for mission-critical network environments.
