22. August 2025 | Planegg

The Lantronix LM83X is an advanced console server in the LM-Series, offering AI-driven out-of-band management for enterprise and industrial networks. It can monitor, control, and automate up to 104 devices via serial connections, including virtual environments and SD-WAN deployments for resilient access even during network outages.

Providing modularity and scalability, the LM83X supports dual Gigabit Ethernet, an SFP port, three expansion bays, dual power inputs, and optional cellular connectivity, including LTE, CatM1, and Iridium LEO satellite for maximum availability in any environment. Its expert system uses rules-based AI to perform automated diagnostics, resolve common issues, and escalate complex events to IT teams before standard tools detect problems.

With the platform Lantronix Control Center, administrators receive a unified view of all LM-Series devices, enabling secure, automated management, real-time monitoring, compliance reporting, and seamless integration with NOC systems. Deployment is fast and flexible, with both web GUI and CLI access, while communication is secured via SSH, HTTPS, OpenVPN, and IPsec.
