The platform’s dual-processor architecture combines the Dragonwing™ IQ-8275 with an STM32H5 microcontroller, enabling parallel processing and deterministic control of AI, vision, control, and connectivity workloads within a unified hardware and development environment.

The combination of powerful AI computing, local inference, real-time response, and broad hardware compatibility allows for more efficient development of advanced edge AI applications, autonomous robotics, intelligent vision systems, industrial control systems, and local speech and image processing. 

Compared to traditional multi-board architectures, the VENTUNO™ Q significantly reduces integration effort, latency, and complexity, allowing developers, research teams, and OEMs to develop modern AI systems more efficiently, from prototypes to production-ready designs. As a result, applications for local LLM workloads, computer vision, motion control, or ROS 2 applications can be developed in a significantly more streamlined, efficient, and less complex approach.

The Arduino® App Lab complements a unified development environment for embedded programming, Linux-based software development, and edge AI, where Arduino® scripts, Python scripts, and AI models can be created, tested, and optimized within a unified environment. It simplifies the VENTUNO™ Q development process and accelerates the transition from evaluation to functional prototypes.



In addition, the VENTUNO™ Q AI Workflow enables the use of a wide range of preconfigured AI models for integrated NPUs. When combined with Edge Impulse and the Qualcomm AI Hub, applications such as on-device LLMs, on-device VLMs, TTS, ASR, gesture recognition, object tracking, and motion detection can be efficiently implemented on the device itself without creating a dependency on the cloud or compromising data security.
