For maintaining energy-efficiency, responsive glasses need to be able to sense their surroundings without their main processor running constantly. 

The EMASS ECS-DoT is particularly designed for energy-efficient processing of audio, image, and motion data and supports wake words, gesture recognition, and scene-based triggers. Thanks to its event-driven approach, the system can activate the main processor for AR or VR as needed, thereby helping to reduce power consumption and heat generation.
